As a school, each spring we participate in the Zaner-Bloser National Handwriting Contest. This contest is sponsored “to encourage and reward handwriting legibility and celebrate the impact of handwriting on students’ literacy development.” The following students were grade-level winners of St. Joseph Grade School. Each winner joined thousands of other students across
the nation to compete at the next level but were not chosen at that level.
Congratulations on your impressive work!

To be eligible, students are to earn a grade point average of 90 on a 100 point scale, or an A on a letter scale, as well as high achievement in reading or math on nationally normed tests. These requirements must be met during 4th grade and the first two trimesters of 5th grade.
