Walk for Virtues
Our Latest Walk for Virtues
May 3, 2024
St. Joseph School students, teachers, & families participated in Walk for Virtues last week. The day began with Mass and May Crowning, followed by Walk for Virtues on the Red Cedar Trail, and ended with ice cream sundaes back at school to celebrate. It was a beautiful day filled with prayer, family, friends, and sunshine.☀️
We are so thankful for your pledges and help in raising money for our wonderful school! THANK YOU!
What is WFV?
Walk for Virtues is a fundraiser for our school. Students will walk on the Red Cedar Trail in Menomonie, and parents are welcome to join! The walk represents our school community's pledge to practice the virtues of Faith, Hope, Charity, Prudence, Justice, Fortitude, and Temperance, which students learn about throughout the school year.
The walk typically takes place the first week of May.
How Do We Raise Money?
Any amount pledged or donated is appreciated. There are several ways to support the walk:
-
St. Joseph School families will collect pledges for our walk from family and friends in the coming weeks.
-
A Walk for Virtues Sponsor Bulletin Board will be in the main entrance of the church. This is an opportunity for parishioners or others who may not be asked to pledge a student to walk, to support our school and the Walk for Virtues fundraiser.
